JustPOS is a simple, offline-first point-of-sale (POS) system for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It's designed for solo entrepreneurs, small businesses, and startups who need a functional POS without the complexity or high cost of enterprise solutions.
Who is JustPOS for?
JustPOS is built for solo founders, startup MVPs, small F&B businesses (cafes, food trucks, restaurants), retail shops, market stalls, and pop-up shops — anyone who wants a simple, affordable POS system.
What devices does JustPOS support?
JustPOS works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Apple Silicon). It's optimized for iPad but works great on all Apple devices.
How much does JustPOS cost?
JustPOS uses a subscription model at $1.99/month (USD). This is significantly cheaper than competitors like Square ($60+/month) or Toast ($79+/month).
Features
What payment methods does JustPOS support?
JustPOS supports Cash, Card, and any custom payment method you define (e.g., Octopus, PayMe, Alipay, etc.). You can add, edit, or remove payment methods in Settings.
Can I manage product variations?
Yes! JustPOS supports product variations through Variation Templates. You can create variation groups like Temperature (Hot/Cold), Size (S/M/L), or Sweetness (0%/50%/100%). Each variation can have its own price modifier.
Does JustPOS have a floor plan feature?
Yes. JustPOS includes a visual floor plan for F&B businesses. You can create a layout of your restaurant, see which tables are occupied, move orders between tables, and manage table status.
Can I export my data?
Yes! JustPOS supports CSV (for spreadsheets) and PDF (for reports) export. Exports are shared via Apple's system share sheet — AirDrop, Email, iCloud Drive, etc.
Privacy & Security
Does JustPOS collect my data?
No. JustPOS collects zero data. Everything is stored locally on your device. We have no servers, no cloud storage, and no way to access your data.
Does JustPOS use analytics or tracking?
No. JustPOS does not use Google Analytics, Facebook SDK, Crashlytics, or any other analytics/tracking service. It's completely tracking-free.
Does JustPOS show ads?
No. JustPOS is 100% ad-free.
What permissions does JustPOS need?
Three permissions, all for specific features:
- Bluetooth — to connect to receipt printers
- Local Network — for local device sync
- Photo Library (optional) — to save receipt screenshots
None of these are used to collect data.
Hardware
Do I need a receipt printer?
No. JustPOS can display a digital receipt on screen. But if you want to print, JustPOS supports Bluetooth (BLE) thermal receipt printers.
What printers are compatible?
JustPOS works with any Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) receipt printer that supports ESC/POS commands — including most 58mm/80mm thermal printers with BLE.
Troubleshooting
I lost all my data. Can you recover it?
Unfortunately, no. JustPOS has no servers and no way to access your data. If you have a CSV backup, you can re-import it. This is why we recommend regular backups.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings → Clear All Data. This will permanently delete all products, orders, reports, and settings.
